Question: drive shaft replacement?

Anyone else experience a loud noise by one of the wheels, requiring drive shaft replacement? Car was only two years old. Part took over 1 month to be procured by dealer service shop. Runs fine after replacement.

Suspension noise: Clunking from the front end may be due to premature wear of the sway-bar links. (1995-97)

It just happened to me yesterday. Same exact story. Car just under 2 years (22 months) old. 3-4 weeks for procurement. Has it been fine since? Much quieter I'm assuming? Did it fall under your warranty coverage?
