Question: Turn Signal Indicator doesn't make clicking sound after it Rains
I have about 65,000 miles on a 2007 Cobalt and for the last two weeks I've had an issue that if it rains or if there is a considerable amount of Dew on the ground my turn signal does not make a clicking sound to indicate that it's working.
Both the Front and Rear turn signal lights seem to be operateing correctly [they light up and blink] (just no click click sound)
If it's left out on a hot parking lot for awhile the turn signal will again start making the clicking sound (until it rains again anyway)
I tried to see if turning the car off for a few minutes and on would do the trick as well but it seems to only work after "drying out" I'm not really sure though maybe something else is happening.
Is there something I can do? I'm worried something major is going to short out.
